The first concert of QYS in 2012, featuring Strauss’ famous tone poem Don Juan, Saint-Saens’ Cello Concerto (Soloist Oliver Scott) and Symphony No. 12 by Shostakovich.

The Peabody Quartet was formed in 2006 and is sponsored by Peabody Energy Australia. Comprising players from the Queensland Youth Symphony, the quartet performs in the Concerts at Twilight series and is also available for government, corporate and private functions.
