Join an Orchestra

Entry to QYO orchestras and ensembles is via an annual audition process.
Following the annual auditions, there are normally some positions that are not filled.
As at January 2010, there are vacancies for the following positions:

Queensland Youth Symphony:  Violin, Viola

3rd Queensland Youth Orchestra:  Double Bass, French Horn

Junior String Ensemble:  Viola, Double Bass

Wind Symphony:  Oboe, French Horn, Tuba, Double Bass

Wind Ensemble:  French Horn, Trumpet, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion

 

If you missed the annual auditions and would like to join a QYO orchestra or ensemble in 2010 in one of these positions, please contact the QYO Office.
