Vacancies for 2013
QYO has several vacancies within its orchestras for 2013. They are as follows:
Violin: QYS
Viola: QYS, QYO2, QYO3 & JSE
Double Bass: QYO2, QYO3 & JSE
French Horn: WE
Trumpet: QYO3
Trombone: WE & BB
Tuba: WE
Percussion: WE
NB: QYO has a ¾ size Double Bass, a ½ size Double Bass and a Baritone Sax for successful applicants.
Interested players must read the application information below and qualify for the standards and age limits. Applicants must complete an Online Application Form. Applicants must prepare the excerpts listed on the QYO website.
The office will arrange an individual audition (approx 5 minutes) with each applicant at a suitable time and location.

As one of Australia’s leading youth music organisations, QYO offers young musicians, at every level of development, high quality music making in seven different ensembles.
Under the direction of the best available conductors and tutors, members enjoy weekly rehearsals and tutorials of quality repertoire and work towards a series of public performances throughout the year.
Musically and socially, membership in QYO can be an immensely rewarding and enjoyable experience. You will not only learn ensemble skills but make friends for life.
