Hire an Ensemble
QYO has a number of smaller ensembles available for performances at government, corporate and private events. These ensembles consist of some of QYO’s most advanced musicians. If you are interested in booking an ensemble, please contact the QYO Office on 3257 3029 or info@qyo.org.au. All prices quoted include GST. Additional charges may apply depending on event location, early arrival and repertoire requests.
QYO String Quartet
$660 per hour
This ensemble consist of 4 string players: 2 violinists, one violist and a cellist. The quartet’s repertoire includes a variety of light classical music and some arrangements of popular songs.
QYO Wind Quintet
$770 per hour
This ensemble consists of 5 wind players on these instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and french horn. The quintet is best suited to events where up to one hour of music is needed. A minimum of 2 months notice is required to hire this group.
QYO Big Band
$3,300 for the first hour, $1,320 for second hour
This ensemble of 15 to 18 musicians consists of a rhythm section, brass section and vocalist. The band’s repertoire includes popular big band classics including jazz and swing standards. The Big Band is a popular choice for balls, dinners and other major events.
