Queensland Youth Orchestras Annual Fundraising Gala

7:00pm an exquisite 4-course dinner and drinks
with donation opportunities and entertainment throughout the evening

Our flagship orchestra, the Queensland Youth Symphony, will once again perform under the “Golden Baton” of a mystery Guest Conductor, and the QYO Big Band will be on hand to wrap up the evening with some smooth jazz.
The highlight of our live auction will be the opportunity to bid for the “2026 Golden Baton”, which gives the successful bidder the opportunity to conduct QYS at the 2026 Fundraising Gala Dinner!   You can bid for yourself or a friend, colleague or family member you want to see up on the stage!
There will be many other attractive donation opportunities throughout the night, so you can support QYO’s musical program.
 At QYO we aim to provide Queensland’s most talented musicians with the best possible orchestral training. More importantly, we foster in young people a lifelong connection to music, which provides countless benefits that transcend music: emotional support, wellbeing, confidence and generosity.
