The QYO Big Band were very busy with three performances since our last newsletter

QYO2, QYO3, JSE, BB, WS & WE performed in four fantastic Concerts at Twilight in Term One.

The QYO Big Band has been very busy this past month with performances at Queen Street Mall and the QPAC Green Jam.

QYO relies heavily on volunteers and we are pleased to introduce the 2019 volunteer teams for each of our orchestras and ensembles.

The QYO Big Band has been very busy this past month with performances at DooBop Jazz Bar and Queen Street Mall. 

The QYO Big Band has been involved in some high profile concerts lately including Jazz Under the Stars with Tom Burlinson at Churchie, Essentially Ellington Festival at Marist College Ashgrove, Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust Gala Ball 'Midnight in Paris' at City Hall and the Doo-Bop Bar in the city. Coming up on Sun 28 Oct, they will perform in the Queen Street Mall from 12pm.

Big Band teams up with Corner Pocket Swing to host a live music and dance extravaganza!

470 members of the Queensland Youth Orchestras performed in a sold out Finale Concert at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
