Brass Quintet at Finland100

On Saturday December 2nd 2017 the dynamic Brown Snake Brass quintet had the pleasure of playing an arrangement of Jean Sibelius’ Finlandia at Parliament House. The performance was part of the Finland 100 event, acknowledging a century of independence from Russia for the Nordic nation. The evening was organised by the Nordic Forum of Australia in conjunction with the International Circle and AMBCQ and had many notable guests including Finnish Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Lars Backström.

The group had a wonderful evening celebrating the historical milestone for the Finnish community and are looking forward to their exciting schedule for 2018.
